About Me

Female smiling

Is life different from how you expected it to be? Do you experience feelings of loss, overwhelm, or being judged at times? You are not alone. Everyone feels like this at some point in their lives. I have too, and have built a career on supporting people just like us to navigate the challenges. Personally I have experienced pregnancy loss, post-natal depression, anxiety, depression and the joys and challenges of parenthood. I can walk with you on the journey of being a mother - a biological, step, adopted, foster, or a mother with a different name - across the lifespan.

I can work with you to develop a deeper level of understanding yourself, where you feel valued and the expert in your own life. I know women have unique physical and mental health needs in whatever stage they are in their lives. I also have a special interest in supporting carers whose children access the NDIS, and the mental and physical load this brings.

No wait list. No GP referral needed: my support modalities are flexible, I can offer a flexible number of sessions, I don't need to share your information and my fees are often less than the gap fee you would generally pay for therapy after a Medicare rebate. I am able to offer GU Health and Doctors Health Funds rebates.

I understand the cost of living pressures especially at the moment, so I offer sliding scale benefits (income-based discounts) on an individual basis and I also offer half-hour sessions for half of my hourly rate.

My inspiration to study counselling came about wanting to fully support parents whose child/ren had just received a diagnosis/diagnoses.
